Levamisole Boluses are used as a treatment against a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal worms and lung worms.It is a synthetic anthelmintic (dewormer) it is effectively used as a prophylaxis and treatment of worm infections in many different kinds of animals, such as cattle, calves, sheep, goats, poultry, swine and has shown to be effective in the treatment of roundworm infestations of freshwater tropical fish.A recent study has found that levamisole is metabolized as in racehorses.
