Outpatient Operating Room
The interactions between healthcare worker’s hands, patients, objects and the hospital environments has, to our knowledge, thus been studied only in intensive care units and wards. There is evidence that the hospital environment, including the operating room, is often not cleaned thoroughly or in a manner consistent with relevant hospital policies. To strengthen the administration of the hospital infection control in the outpatient operating room for decreasing the rate of the hospital infection.
1. Location
Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital, Shanghai Communication University School of Medicine, which is a large size tertiary comprehensive hospital approved by the National Ministry of Public Health, integrating with medicine, education and research. This hospital is on the top list in plastic surgery research.
2. Area disinfection

3. Decontamination method
Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide decontamination method, to do the terminal disinfection
4. Verify
Microbiological samples are collected in two rooms at different points: one room just after patients discharge (T0),one room after H2O2 disinfection(T1).Then handle the samples to third party inspection institution.
