Description
Composition:
Each ml contains:
Iron (as iron dextran): 100 mg.
Vit B12, Cyanocobalamin: 100 µg.
Indications:
Prevention and treatment of anemia in piglets, calves and other animals.
Cyanocobalamin is used for prophylaxis and treatment of anaemia in calves piglets.
Contra-Indications:
Administration to animals with Vit E defiency or with diarrhoea.
Administration in combination with tetracyclines because of the interaction of iron with tetracyclines.
Dosage and Administration:
Administer intramuscularly (in the muscles of the hind legs) or subcutaneously.
Cattle/horses: 12 ml per 250 kg body weight.
Calves/foals: 4-8 ml in first week.
Sheep/goats/dogs: 3 ml.
Piglets Prevention: 2 ml once at 3 days of age and 2 ml at 21 days.
Sows Prevention: 5 ml 2 weeks before farrowing.
Withdrawal time: None.
Storage: Keep closed in a cool and dry place, away from sunlight and safe from children.
