Character: This product is light yellow or yellow clear liquid.
Pharmacological action: pharmacodynamics This product is effective in removing cattle, sheep, blood spears and some arthropods. It is not effective for the anterior and posterior disk. For most gastrointestinal nematodes, such as Spear nematode, Yangkou nematode and Oesophagus nematode, the removal rate was more than 90. Some sheep twist blood spear nematode strains can develop drug resistance to this product. Sodium cytidine can effectively remove hookworms, but not larvae. It can also prevent or reduce the common nematode infection of horses. In addition, the maggots of the first, second and third stages of sheep nose fly have 100% killing effect, and the third stage larvae of the cowhide fly have better killing effect. The anti-insect mechanism is to uncouple oxidative phosphorylation by increasing mitochondrial permeability of parasites and thus to drive them away.
Pharmacokinetics closantel has a high plasma protein binding rate (99%>) in sheep, resulting in a half-life of 14.5 days. Drugs are excreted mainly through feces (80%) and less than 0.5% of drugs are excreted through urine.
Drug interaction: closantel can be combined with benzimidazole or levamisole.
Indication : Anti-worm medicine. It is mainly used for the prevention and treatment of cattle, sheep, liver, gastrointestinal nematode and sheep nose fly maggots.
Usage and dosage: Subcutaneous or intramuscular injection, One dose, each kg bodyweight, cattle 0.05~0.1 ml; sheep 0.1~0.2.
Untoward effect: No adverse reactions to prescribed usage.
Precaution : Some irritation to local tissue.
Withdrawal time :cattle, sheep 28 days. Abandonment 28days.
